The New edition (just seen) has not been changed just for the sake of doing so.
It still has excellent Physics, and the new sections on ‘How Science Works‘ are well put (and I’m pleased they are slightly different from the Biology book).
I particularly like the familiar format, readability, plenty of practice questions, tasks that all pupils can access.
It’s equally suitable for Foundation & Higher (I have used it with a full ability range in comprehensives).
New colleagues like the Support Pack and CD.
The emphasis is right. A good preparation for A-level.
We use Advanced Phys4U too!
